Glenn Garry has been an EV Advocate since 2015 and a board member of the Victoria Electric Vehicle Association since 2018. He is currently their President as well as Research and Government Engagement Lead with significant success working with governments at municipal, provincial and federal levels. He has been interviewed on radio and TV both locally and regionally as well as being a columnist in print media.

Prior to his pro-bono work with VicEVA, he was a consultant to industry in naval training after a 33 year career as a naval officer. Having lived in every region of Canada, as well as serving in joint US/Canadian posts, he and his family settled in Victoria since the start of this century.
