Emma graduated from the University of Victoria with a B.A. of Geography, majoring in Urban Development Studies and minoring in Environmental Studies. Emma became an Energy Advisor in 2015 and has 9 years of experience in the residential construction industry. Drawing from this experience she now leads E3 Eco Group’s Part 9 team, delivering BC Energy Step Code, EnerGuide, EnergyStar, Net-Zero and BuiltGreen services. She is passionate about energy efficiency and building better buildings. What Emma loves most about her job is the opportunity to keep learning and sharing knowledge in a rapidly changing industry. In her spare time, she is a part time instructor for the BCIT Zero Energy/Emissions Buildings Learning Centre teaching best practices related to the BC Energy Step Code and envelope airtightness.
