Danny is a technology entrepreneur with a passion for creating innovations that make our lives and the world a better place. As CEO and Founder of Sol49, Danny aims to put a battery on every home - empowering consumers to own their power, while creating a stabler grid and a healthier planet for generations to come. With a career spanning network topology, cloud computing, and peer-to-peer platforms, Danny has a strong track record of building scalable and secure infrastructures. His journey began in the late 90s designing Microsoft networks for Fortune 500 companies. Previously, he held executive roles at IQMetrix, co-founded Canada’s first seed accelerator Bootup Labs, founded Strutta and Peerflix and invested in entrepreneurs and ventures that were acquired by Twitter, Samsung, United Online and others. 

Outside of work, you’ll find Danny spending time with his family at his off-grid cabin on British Columbia’s Sunshine Coast, engaging with the EMerge Alliance group, or advising the next generation of tech entrepreneurs. He believes in the power of technology to save lives, create peace, and heal our planet—and he’s always excited to connect with others who feel the same.
