As the COO of Variablegrid, Dan drives strategic initiatives and market expansion for their automated power management system, designed to enable EV charging in buildings and homes with limited electrical capacity. With over 15 years of leadership in energy management for the built environment, Dan has extensive experience integrating edge network computing and power solutions into existing infrastructure to reduce the financial costs of adopting clean technologies. Holding an MBA in Finance from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary, Dan has led multiple companies from pre-revenue to acquisition, contributing to three successful exits. He is dedicated to making the electrical transition more equitable and accessible by reducing the financial barriers for energy efficiency and EV adoption.
