Christopher Pereira serves as the Manager of Building Systems & Sustainability at BentallGreenOak (BGO) Properties, a Canadian Real Estate Management firm originally established in 1911. BGO Properties is a leading provider of property management and leasing services in Canada, offering a broad range of real estate service from offices across worldwide. While his day to day focuses on energy management projects, certifications, and tenant engagement, Christopher also works as an Energy Manager between BC Hydro and BGO on efforts to decarbonize office, industrial, retail and residential assets in order to meet Vancouver's Annual GHG and Energy Limit requirements. Recently, Christopher has helped BGO in BC achieve more than 1,000 MWh of Energy Savings in 2024, implement an AI Building Management System at 550 Burrard Street (B5), and win BOMA BC's inaugural Leap Forward Award for structuring a detailed environmental program.
