Carly Johansson
Climate Leadership Specialist,
Community Energy Association
Carly is a Climate Leadership Specialist at the Community Energy Association, a BC-based non-profit working to accelerate action by local governments and Indigenous communities related to climate and energy. As a facilitator of the BC Electric Mobility Peer Network and the Alberta Climate Leaders Staff Peer Network, she supports communities in transitioning to electric mobility, reducing transportation emissions while enhancing community well-being. The networks provide vital channels for local governments and Indigenous communities to access up-to-date information and foster collaboration. In 2022, Carly delivered the Charge North EV Discovery Tour, driving a Mustang Mach-E across central and northern BC to answer questions about EVs, offer test drives, and meet with other EV drivers.
