Community Energy Association
United Kingdom
Carly is a Climate Leadership Specialist at the Community Energy Association, a BC-based non-profit working to accelerate action by local governments and Indigenous communities related to climate and energy. Carly is dedicated to accelerating climate action through capacity-building networks for local governments. As the facilitator of the Electric Mobility Peer Network, she supports communities in British Columbia in transitioning to electric mobility, reducing transportation emissions while enhancing community well-being. The network provides a vital channel for municipalities, regional districts, and Indigenous communities to access up-to-date information and foster collaboration. In 2022, Carly delivered the Charge North EV Discovery Tour, driving a Mustang Mach-E across central and northern BC to answer questions about EVs, offer test drives, and meet with other EV drivers.
