Cameron’s passion for climate action led him to become an Energy Advisor in 2018, leveraging over a decade of experience in the trades. Armed with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Victoria and a Master’s in Sustainable Development from the University of Utrecht, he is committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the building sector through energy efficiency measures and low-carbon materials. Cameron possesses a deep understanding of complex building science concepts and has a natural talent for communicating technical ideas to others in a powerful way. He is involved in multiple technical committees (HPSC EA Sector Council, CHBA working group on national renovation code, BuiltGreen Technical Committee) to advance low-carbon construction by fostering innovation and sharing expertise.
