Cameron Lockhart is a Senior Energy Advisor at Carbon Wise, specializing in whole-building life cycle assessments (WB LCA) and energy modeling. After more than a decade in the trades, he returned to the sustainability field as an NRCan certified Energy Advisor, and later became one of the first cohort to complete the BCIT program in WBLCA. Also holding a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Victoria and a Master’s in Sustainable Development from Utrecht University, Cameron integrates academic insight with practical experience to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the building sector, and has recently contributed to standardized housing design catalogues for both the Province of British Columbia and the CMHC. 

In his personal life, Cameron and his family are working to establish a small hobby farm focused on personal and ecological sustainability.  This endeavor represents the latest step on a journey to balance professional expertise with personal choice, distinguishing fad from fraud and adapting sustainable practices to fit one's context.
