Alison Conroy
Technical Liaison Director,
Canadian Association of Consulting Energy Advisors
Alison has always had a keen interest in energy efficiency in the built environment. In 2011, she attained her EA designation through NRCan, which she held for over 11 years, during which time she completed over 750 single family assessments in new and existing construction and participated as an active member of CACEA. Today, she continues to consult on building envelope design and provide field testing services. In January she became CACEA’s Technical Liaison Director, allowing her to represent CACEA, particularly in British Columbia, and support the board of directors while serving as a conduit between multiple stakeholders, EA members, and the larger community. Alison currently lives in Prince George, BC, with her husband and two daughters. When she's not “geeking out” over building science, she can be found playing outdoors or enjoying a good meal and beer with friends.
