Alec is the Manager of Innovation & Strategy in EV Service Delivery at BC Hydro. He has spent 20 years at Hydro advancing clean technologies: mitigating their impact and enabling their adoption. His BC Hydro career started with hydrogen and fuel cell pilots ranging from backup power to vehicle applications. Subsequently, Alec initiated BC Hydro’s public EV charging network in 2012 and currently works on enabling new transportation electrification market segments such as commercial trucks. Alec is a Professional Engineer in the Province of B.C. He has an MBA from the University of Victoria and a Bachelor of Applied Science and Bio-Resource Engineering from the University of British Columbia.
