Ajay is responsible for implementing integrated planning methodologies and developing short and long-term capital and maintenance plans for the generation, transmission and distribution systems that are aligned with Asset Management best practices. His group is also responsible for developing the future grid strategy for the power system and undertaking the planning for load and IPP customers that are proposing to interconnect to the BC Hydro system. Prior to this role, Ajay held various senior management positions in Line Asset Planning, Asset Investment Planning, System Planning, Risk Management and Process Improvement. Ajay is a Professional Engineer and holds an MBA (Finance) from Queen’s University, and a Master’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary.
