A non-profit society focused on bringing an electrified world-class regional rail network to the South Coast of BC. MVX was founded by commuters from the South Fraser region in the spirit of hope, but also out of frustration. We have hope that the vision for faster-than-driving regional rail can be a reality in our lifetimes. We are also frustrated by congestion and under-investment in mass transit, especially in the regions surrounding Metro Vancouver. Our team consists of rail engineers, transportation planners, political leaders, and financial experts. In addition, our team is supported by technical experts in the fields of rail technology, infrastructure costing, and land value capture.
